WCOZ-FM poster

very cool. I had a cardboard standee of that design in my freshman dorm room at BU--10th floor of Warren Towers. It might have been one of the items that got tossed out of the lounge window one night when people were bored.

Anyone got a year for this? Seems like a Star Wars reference, and the fact that they used a fraction in the frequency suggests late 70s to me rather than 80s.

Nevermind; someone answered this on Flickr. Looks like 1976 or so.

Being born in 1979, stations on .5 have always been .5 or rounded off, never ½. That being said, it's cool they once did that! I like it! 94½!

WCOZ used the 94 1/2 moniker AT LEAST to 1980 as I had one of the LOOONNGGG Bumper Stickers "Boston's Best Rock WCOZ 94 1/2 FM"...May have kept the 1/2 right up to the switch to ZOU...

I still have my poster. Got it from COZ van at Headlines in Malden along with coz rolling papers sometime in summer of 1978
