WCPH/WENR

With hundreds of Class D AM's gone silent, picking up some good used AM equipment and tower sections should be easy and inexpensive. There are a bunch of heavy duty cranes that have not been used much due to the construction bust that could be rented for about 25 to 40% less than just five years ago. so the tower could be made safe and repaired quickly.

It has been a while since I visited the Etowah/Englewood area does anyone know how the stations there WCPH WENR are doing with the new owners?

WCPH is now Homegrown 1220 and a superb oldies station playing 1950's-1970's oldies. Also streams. WENR is back playing gospel and brokered religion. Improvements are noticeable. The new owner is investing in these stations. And is a good owner.
