WCRB 99.5 FM - In Your Face To WBZ TV & Radio: Rebroadcast Fiedler 1976 4 th Concert

WCRB will rebroadcast an Arthur Fiedler Boston Pops Esplanade Concert from the 1976 4'th of July concert on the Esplanade.

This is a real in your face to the current crap that now passes for the non-patriotic concert under the direction of the increasingly pudgy.... I'll think of his name sometime....

The concert has just become a profit center without regard to its original purpose to celebrate the 4th with a patriotic concert.

Instead, they now hire second stringer marginal performers or one hit wonders who would rather turn it into a rock concert or a Country and Western Hill Billy Hootenany. Nothing wrong with either in its place but not in a 4th of July concert.

Today, they do not even play the full 1812 Overture so that WBZ Radio and TV and CBS can sell more commercials. It is a total waste or air time. The PBS Capitol Fourth is still a class act which is more than you can say about Keith "Lostheart's " sell out.

So, if you want to hear what a REAL Boston Pops 4th of July concert sounded like turn on WCVB 99.5 on the evening of the 4th
