WCRB Adds A New Voice And It's Not Richard Knisely

A year ago, there was quite a bit of dissatisfaction with the management at WGBH-FM 89.7 when they jettisoned veteran classical music announcer Richard Knisely. Shortly thereafter, they purchased WCRB, probably with the salary they saved from firing Richard, no doubt. Now, WCRB has announced that they've hired some outsider from some city southwest of here that's so unimaginative that it's named after the state in which it's located. His name is James David Jacobs. He'd better not mispronounce any names or make some mistake when I'm listening, or 995allclassical's Facebook(tm) page will be hear from me.

Good show. Listen to every word. Listen to every nuance. Let's try to catch this guy in a minor flub so we can strut how brilliant we are.
