WCRB-HD

I noticed on Ibquity's web site that WCRB just has its 1 main HD1 channel. No longer lists 2 HD Channel. Know that HD stuff was taken over from Greater Media. Is the drop of HD2 to save money. Fybush .com says that Nassau is having money problems. Will bigger radio groups cut back on HD2 and HD3 channels to save money?
There seems to be atrend to put weak AM stations on the HD2 and3 channels on FM..

HD-2's are relatively small change, and very inexpensive to run another AudioVault, etc.

There is no requirement that stations have a secondary HD-2 channel.

I don't think WCRB has ever had an HD-2 channel.

What would you suggest they put on it....and why?

It would be nice if 99.5 would fix their extremely wide HD signal that bleeds all over from at least 98.3 to 100.9. Back when they were on 102.5, they had their satellite feed that airs on stations like WFCC on the HD2. There's been no HD2 since going to Nassau, and 99.5.

I noticed that too when I was up around 93 and 495 near their tower. I wonder what's wrong with their transmitter that's causing that? I know it wasn't my radio.

I can just barely get their HD to kick on at my apartment here in Somerville, only with certain antenna positions.

Guess , it take Ibquity over a year to update their web site. As Eli said the old CRB at 102.5 did have a HD2

Why would you want to do such a thing? Haven't you already heard the "Moonlight Sonata" enough times to last you a lifetime?
