wcrb Sale

I read a few weeks ago that WCRB was going to be sold to Greater Media which owns a few stations in the Boston market. Has the sale gone through yet and what is the status of the classical format on 102.5 if it does?

I was also wondering how the new owner got buy the thing that I believe was in the estate of the man that had passed away that would prevent a format change for up to 100 years.

Try this thread:

Word is they'd move WKLB there and put classical on
the HD channel (in fact, "Classical 2.0" is one of the announced
Greater Media HD channels to start soon). This would satisfy, allegedly,
the agreement where they were forced to carry classical for 99 years
or so...yes, they'd have it, but on HD.

The sale is an agreement in principal as of right now.
