WCRN

I'm looking for any info about WCRN. Thanks.
Currently they're a talk station at 830 on the AM Dial. Licensed to Worcester and broadcasts with 50KW day and night. (I think. Guys they finally upped their night signal right?) They're one of two stations in Worcester that carries the Redsox, the other being WVEI 1440. The reason this is allowed is because of WVEI's poor night signal they buy time on WCRN for the games. (Correct me if I'm wrong).

On the nights when the Sox are on WRKO, 'RKO carries the Sox pregame at 6:25 (for 7 pm starts)
but WCRN sticks with Howie. Marc's info is right. From what I hear they may not necessarily do
well in ratings with Sox but it gives them more visibility/introduces people to them

Duh, done Wikipedia, radioguy02038. I meant any inside info, any news or ideas about the station and it's listenership after the switch to talk and 50,000 watts. They're about to move into new studios, too. I'm just curious about them.

Ah yes, the website where ANYONE can post erroneous information about ANYTHING. The only time it gets corrected is when someone who knows better happens to find the erroneous info and fixes it.
