WCRS/Greenwood

OK, I know Jeff Roper is running "Big Fish Broadcasting" in Gwd and has 94.1 (WYOR) as Your 94, sort of a Variety Hits format and it sounds very good. But does he own 1450 (WCRS-AM) as well? I know both stations have been co-owned in the past, so it got me thinking. What's going on at 1450? Is it still Standards? I can't seem to find a website for it anywhere.

Thanks!

Yes he owns WCRS-AM. It is ABC's Timeless Classics. He Simulcasts WCRS-AM on WJES-AM 1200 Saluda now with 10,000 watts. Carries Rush Limbaugh and Sportstalk with Kornblut rest of the time its Timeless Favorites. When he gets an inch Jeff will simulcast WYOR-FM on WJES-AM for some reason.

Word on the dirt road is that Roper is working as ops. manager for Harold in O'burg. What's up with that? He 'OWNS" or let's say they own thir own gig in Greenwood. He's bored? I wonder??
If it's between hiring a temp. from the bus stop in downtown cola town and roper... Give me the temp. at least he'll listen and won't have an agenda for being there. Sumter friends be careful when you play with snakes you can get bit.
