WCSH crushes the competition, again

The February book is out! In all time periods where the three stations program news, Gannett's juggernaut got more viewers than WGME and WMTW combined. In fact, they got nearly *three times* the viewers of the combined competition in mornings. Despite spending heavily on doppler radar, a new satellite truck, and an expanded staff, WMTW's ratings remain as dismal as ever. Hearst-Argyle must be rethinking their continued investment in this perennial dog of the market.

That's because WMTW thinks good-looking female anchors and reporters=more viewers. Too bad most of them seem like bubbleheads with the exception of Tory Ryden. Jon Camp is terrible, and I miss Norm Karkos as a sports guy. This Travis Lee they're feeding us is a joke. What were they thinking when they kicked Jeff Peterson to the curb?

I'd love to see Norm doing sports at Channel 6, to me the only weak link on their prime time lineup is Bruce Glazier.
