WCSH/WLBZ meteorologist Keith Carson joining The Weather Channel

Great news for Keith! I think he has done a great job for WCSH. He'll be missed, but they have a great track record of finding/recruiting new talent at newscenter.

Nah! Already had him here in Hartford/New Haven, back when WTIC-TV (FOX) of Hartford started their newscasts in 1989.

Wouldn't mind seeing WCSH-TV's Jackie Ward here in Connecticut. She is awesome (and easy on the eyes)! :)
 
Keith has been a great presence at NewsCenter --- very competent, very personable. He's a Maine native and I'm sure it'll be hard for him to leave the state, but wow, what an opportunity!

Given that Rob Lydeck of WABI left there recently, and was so popular, I wonder if Gannett might get in touch with him . . .
