What a strange operation! The apply for a one step to upgrade to B-1 status, with a location in the ocean. FCC rejects it. They have been on and off the air quite a bit the last several months, including most of a weekend several weeks ago. Is this station a joke? Oh, and it's owned by a communications attorney. I bet if the FCC were to stop in, they'd find all kinds of interesting things, but apparently the FCC doesn't like to travel to the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The few stations their haven't been inspected for years, and years. By the way this owner used to own WVES in Accomac. That's a whole other story.

Look the FCC has rules, why should a communications attorney try to get around the rules, hoping the FCC won't figure it out. This is the same guy that was a bout a year late in signing on, after his construction permit ran out.
