WCTN Changes

This junk seems to be going out on quite a few stations, mostly operated by Birach: https://overcomerministry.org/wp-co...COMER-MINISTRY-RADIO-LOG-2021-Google-Docs.pdf

Scroll down past the shortwave stuff to page 9 for the list of AM stations where this is on 24/7. I'm amused by the "Not Live" listing next to one particular station - if any of this was live, that'd be a real miracle!

The new list of affiliates can be found here: Radio Schedule – Overcomer Ministry

I can pick up 740-AM from Huntington, Long Island on my car stereo here in Central Connecticut. Audio sounds like crap. Like two tin cans and string.

WTNT AM 730 remains with a canned "house music" while the translators 92.9 / 97.5 play live programming . What gives?

Status update.

WCTN continues with Spanish-language canned hits/classics. No ads. WCTN seems to sign-off randomly. Somedays , it's not there.

WTNT remains a mix of English -Spanish hits from the past, not in parallel with its FM translator network.

WCTN continues with filler Spanish-language romantic hits. It seems to have a better signal these days with nice audio.

WCTN is now airing what appears to be programming in Korean? Not sure if this is permanent or just a leased out time slot

Yes, WCTN (AM+94.3 xltr) has switched to Korean programming. It is not relaying AM 1310 WDCT Fairfax but some other content source. It may be an out-of-market feed like Los Angeles so stay tuned DXers.

While I do not speak Korean, I figured out that the WCTN source audio might be KCBN.US out of the New York City area. The stations streams audio (e.g. YouTube) and perhaps still runs in NYC an SCA channel.
