Anyone notice the new-ish commercial promo Channel 5 has going for their "largest weather team"?
The voiceover guy specifically mentions Dick Albert and Harvey Leonard but all 7 meteorologists are shown including Dickie, Harvey, JC Monahan, Mike Wankum (ex-WLVI chief, now weekends at WCVB), Terry Casey (ex-WHDH and now behind the scenes weather producer at WCVB), Joe Venuti (also ex-WLVI and behind the scenes at WCVB), and Dave Epstein (fill-in).
No mention of former meteorologist David Brown who is now co-anchor of the weekday EyeOpener from 5am-7am. I wonder if he feels left out. ;D
Remember just a couple of years ago, just before Harvey's arrival, when they dumped Mark Rosenthal because they supposedly had too many people on the weather staff??
