WCVY

WRNI has indeed been mentioning "91.5 WCVY Coventry Public Schools" as part of its top of the hour ID.

Now that 88.7 is off the table, I imagine this must be RIPR's "Plan B".

I know that WCVY no longer has to time share as of May 28th of this year... They were previously only operating from 2pm-10pm during the school year. WRJI got all other hours of the day, plus the entire summer. With the deletion of the WRJI license WCVY applied to get rid of the share time agreement, and they're now full time. I wonder if the programming from WRNI is filler for the summer and the hours not programmed by the school?

they teamed up with WRNI
so they don't have to time share thank god i hear them in newport ri but don't know why its a great thing high school radio
