WCXT takes a new format - CHR

I was hoping 105.3 Hot-FM would lean straight ahead Rhythmic Top-40 and give WSNX a run for their money since they're more of Rhythmic leaning Pop Top-40, but from the way it looks Hot-FM will more Pop oriented than Rhythmic. It should be interesting how the ratings turn out for them. I heard that Rob Scorpio who use to program The Beat in LA and The Box in Houston is consulting the station, is this true? With him in the mix I was sure it would go Rhythmic.

WCXT takes a new format

I haven't been up that way since WCXT 105.3 signed-on. How has their music direction settled in and how do they sound? Who should be on the defensive?

I see that they've taken up new call letters as WHTS. If those calls ring familiar to you, it belonged to a former CHR in the Quad Cities area until earlier this year.

And there Reel World package sounds very good...

KIIS L.A. 04 and KIIS L.A. 07 from RW, to be exact.
