WDAS AM 1480 Audio Quality (IBOC)

In a previous thread comments were made on the Excellent Audio Quality of WDAS 1480.
I think it would be 1000% better if they turned the IBOC OFF!

I thought I heard the sideband hash on my analog receiver, so I checked it out with my digital receiver and lo and behold they are using IBOC. The receiver would not lock onto the signal during the day about 3 miles from the xmtr sight. Forget about nightime.
