Just came across this gem of a station last night when in the Deptford mall, I usually have my grundig pe radio to pull stations in when in the mall, most Jersey and PA malls only offer WMMR as the rock station available over the air. This is one unique format, it was Hard Core Alternative, until 6PM, then went into Full Blow Punk/Death/Speed Metal, the jocks where fun also on the air. It sounds like a college station, its on 91.5, I thought it was WKDU at first, but hey, they only play the usual PHILLY STYLE URBAN GARBABE ALL THE PHILLY DIAL IS MADE UP OF, so I knew it could not be them. When I headed back toward Philly they were listenable in the car until the WWB tolls, then they were destroyed by WKDU. Does anyone else know of WDBK, is this their full time format and would it work in Philly, I managed to pull them in today in my home in Philly and they are playing Alternative once again, just heard Pet Cemetary by the Ramones, great station.

thanks for the info, guess they cannot get any further Northwest...;(

WDBK can't go anywhere with 91.7 WKDU and Swarthmore's 91.5 WSRN on the air to its immediate west.

Has anyone at Camden Co. College considered moving WDBK to a higher tower? Whatever they're building next to the current tower is higher than WDBK's bottom two antenna bays. You don't want to make a 100 watt station weaker than it already is.

The school wont pay the money. We had a deal with Camden County to move the antenna to an emergency tower and the school didnt want to do anything. You should drive by the school. The antenna is leaning to the right a bit

...Nope, I better not. Maybe it'll fall onto a metal roof and transform an otherwise useless building into a mega power house. That happened to an FM years ago, (don't know which one) and when sailors at sea hundreds of miles away started calling the radio station, some fines were imposed.
