Stations that are 100% simulcasts can opt for single line or separate reporting. For sales purposes, single line has many advantages, and split signals has many disadvantages.
WSB and WSBB are reported on a single line (WSB-FM has a different format).
WOKV AM and FM are listed by Arbitron as SLR also.

Whenever I switch between an AM and an FM who simulcast, the A/B comparison is so imediate and so striking, the FM sounds so clean and the AM is so muffled and heavilly processed to improve their S/N ratio. Even better, an HD subchannel with decent bandwidth sounds like a direct feed into my car. I remember the first time I heard the Beeb World Service on XM after years of listening on worldband (shortwave), it took a few days minutes seconds to get used to, but the difference was also striking.tanner said:I still listen to the AM side.
