WDBO

When? They always sound fine to me, I listen to both 96.5 HD and AM 580. Huh, I guess i'll have to listen a little closer.

Could it have been one of their syndicated shows? The quality off the satellite can leave something to be desired. I find the caller audio on the Sean Hannity show to be frequently clipped and distorted . That problem is an issue with WABC in New York I would think. :-\

I noticed they were having trouble last weekend. It sounded like their audio processing was bypassed, with audio levels all over the place. Newscasts and weather were buried so low you could barely hear them. The audio has improved since then, but still sounds like it's missing something. A little dull compared to 540, and normally to me 540 sounds dull compared to DBO.

from what i heard, the whole station's processor melted down and they had to bypass the system by hardwiring everything. All the cox stations were in the same boat, but the problem was fixed a couple of days later.
