Reported on Jakes TV Blog:
WDCL-FM is installing a new transmitter. No details provided.
Wonder if anyone has any technical details?
What instigated the transmitter upgrade?
Last time I checked, which was a few weeks back, the station signal seemed below par for a 100 kW station. And, at that time the signal was weaker than it had been in years past. As I recall, they are licensed for 100 kW circular polarization.
Also, the city of license is Somerset, but the transmitter/antenna is actually located in the north-central region of Adair county.
