WDDZ 550 Pawtucket is now in HD during daytime hours and sounds quite good. I have fooled a few friends who thought for sure they were listening to FM. They are even scrolling real time title and artist unlike the Citadel FM's here. Speaking of Citadel, anyone know when or if WPRV 790 will get HD?

Wow... at this point I'm surprised that new stations are even bothering with HD at all. Hasn't the technology proven to be a failure? Until they incorporate HD broadcasts into regular Radios, I don't see it going anywhere. The last time I was in Best Buy I think I only got 3 HD stations. Why pay more than a hundred dollars for such a device when it hardly picks anything up? You can get a satellite radio and pick up over 130 channels for only 13 bucks a month. I'll just keep paying my 45 cents a day. It's more than worth it to me.

HD is probably the best thing that could happen to it, because how many kids actually would listen to music on AM, or AM radio at all? How many kids would rather listen to 550 AM instead of 92 PRO FM? Ok so now they have HD on Radio Disney 550, now all the kids need to do is get HD radios.
