Vermont WDEV Owner Ken Squire dies at age 88

When I was a teenager, watched him for many years on CBS Sports. May he RIP.

WDEV AM 550 and FM 96.1 is a unique radio operation. I wonder how the owner's passing will affect it?

Lots of news, sports and agriculture info. Local talk shows, different music formats depending on the daypart. CBS News on the hour. I hope whoever is in charge will continue the commitment.

A personal reflection about Ken Squier & WDEV and the hope it remains a unique Vermont station rather than gobbled up by a large radio group.
