I listed to WDJC this past Friday and heard a promo that mornings were changing (once again) starting July 7th. Any information out there?

Im not 100% sure, but we just lost a great morning guy in Athens, Ga @ Magic 102.1 that says he was moving to Birmingham. He left last week.
"Husky Love" A.K.A. Russell P. Wall.......G ;D ;D d Luck Russell!!! We are already missing ya here in Bulldog country....even if you are a Georgia Tech fan :p.

Russell Wall is now on "The Junction" with David Lamb from the local CBS affiliate in Birmingham.

I want to know what CC thinks will be accomplished here!

I was kinda glad to see Mark and Mack go (even tho I liked them) because the show was getting chatty to the point there was very little music at all. I felt like I was being seg wayed from segue to segue, interrupted by commentary and sponsor promos. Occasionally someone hiccuped and music actually came on.

And then there was Wendy and Ken. I got used to them. They were slightly silly, but still nice and a good topic every day to discuss. And once I did get used to them I found no reason at all to chuck them. Maybe they could have punched it up if necessary, but I don't think they got that chance.

Enter TNT. The first week was real rough. But then Tanner and Taylor come through until what? No more Tanner.

I had to hand it to Taylor---her very first radio gig and she handled it very well solo from my point of view. Is there any real reason they couldn't let her keep at it solo if a suitable partner was not found?

I never thought Terry would be a permanent partner (although they did work well together) because he was such an anchor to Sunday Mornings.

So what gives? Mr Lamb is familiar to me and I respect him, but I don't feel it yet--not as my morning radio host. I want Taylor back. Or at least tell me you didn't dangle her over the BBQ pit to roast.

So welcome Mr. Lamb and Mr. Wall. You aren't first names to me yet. I have to finish mourning Taylor Rose first. And I hope to hear from her elsewhere on WDJC. At least put a tribute on your website. :'(
