Has anyone besides me noticed that they ALWAYS leave their transmitter on 24/7? When i worked there is was WTAK AM AOR?ROCK. It was 10k with a three tower array. Now it's one tower with 1.1kw. It's still a daytimer. I guess the owners don't know that. They stop programming at dark and leave a dead carrier on.

They may be afraid to shut down at night fearing it may not fire up the next day. On the other hand, they may get their best numbers with dead air!

Haaa. I think they bought a newer transmitter when they made the change. Yes, with dead air, you can imagine you own format and play anything you like.
