Wow, does the "new" DJO sound good. They have gone back to their original oldies format with some great tunes. Give it a listen oldie lovers.

they do sound good

It is polished and the DJ's sound like they are having fun...instead of going thru the motions. we have the internet feed where I am and everyone agrees...it is old music but they hum it, dance to it and are enjoying it.

Listening via TuneIn Radio from another Midwestern city, and WDJO does sound great! So few stations are playing music of the 50s and early 60s anymore, and WDJO has a great balance of hits and "oh wow" stuff that rarely gets played. Bravo! (I also like the fact that they play a short ABC newscast every hour.)

Listening on line from Pennsylvania. Considering WDJO is on AM, I never understood why they dropped the 50's and 60's music in the first place. Why compete directly with WGRR? Station sounds good. Every FM oldies station sounds identical. It's nice WDJO is acknowledging there are people over 55! I stopped listening when they modernized the music. I'm back! Great work! The 60's is the greatest music decade!

Slight tangent. Just driving down the road listening to DJO when an Imus voiced spot comes on. My wife looks at me and asks…"is that Gilbert Gnarley?"

Ha Gilbert Gnarley... I agree. Overall the station sounds better than it has since the 1160 days... Fun to listen again.. Nice work (good)guys!

Another attempt by the Kauffmann clan to avoid the creditors?

I don't know anything about the Cincinnati radio market, or what kind of station WDJO is, but I'm glad to see radio stations that play real oldies. I personally belong to the teenage demographic who is supposed to be fawning over CHR or crappy country, but I can assure you, there are tons of people my age who like real music (like they are spinning on WDJO at this moment).

I hope they keep it up.
