I was told once that Clear Channel had a great library, but there seems to be a few tunes that NO ONE can seem to be able to find. Maybe I can get those titles to you sometime or maybe you can suggest who I need to talk with to find them. Thanks again.
Would an example be World Of Oz - The Muffin Man? WSAI played it in the late 60's...my 45 sounds awful. I've been searching for that one with zero success...
Lookie here...bought it for 13 cents for a 256kb copy...sounds awesome.

This station gets more conversation on this site than they have listeners in the ratings reports.

Awh..Yeah!!! But i would love to see their stream numbers... I know my former inlaws play them via stream for an hour or two a day in Indian Hill....So, they've got some affluent folks at the country club... ;D

As an example, I have been trying to find a tune by Vicki Carr that WUBE played in March 1968, named Like the Wind. It isn't on any of her albums or ever released as a single. Tried lots of sites, no one has it. Took me 35 years to find Kenny O"Dell's Springfield Plane, but I finally found it. Evie Sands had a minor hit with Billy Sunshine, but even the old 45 sites who have it listed say it's gone quicker the a prom dress in May when you try to find it. Those are a couple that I'm thinking of.

It would be cool if there was a Radio-Info destination called Music Search Help or similar. We can all use a little guidance looking for that elusive tune from time to time...

I can tell you that I think the station sounds great! I listen to it from my home in Springfield, either during the day on my car radio, where I can get some reception, or on-line. You do what you can!

With all the limitations of day and night patterns... Other limited AM's are noticing... We have a 1kw non-da that is on one of the old crowded class IV frequencies in our market.. They are considering that first generation oldies with a local flare.... ;)

I enjoy the format of WDJO but their signal is weak in the northern metro area. It would be nice to see them simulcasted on one of the local HD-2s.

Cary: My apoligies for misspelling your name. I'll be listening and hope you eventually get your name put on the website's good guys page.

I usually listen online on the weekends and in the mornings before I go to work.

WDJO should be commended. They at least try and deliver a good sounding station. The rest of the stations in town (except WLW) sound corporate, boring and mundane. These guys at least sound like they love what they're doing. I hear a lot of people that talk about them.

You ought to listen to stations in other markets...yikes! AWFUL STUFF!!

Hope they continue with the format! I listen quite a bit!!
