WDJO WCIN 1480?

I've been listening on line to 1480 and heard WCIN at the top of the hour, and I don't think I've heard WDJO mentioned. Also the web address, is that going to change to? Love the format! Keep up the good work.

I'm thinking that they want to secure the call letters of 'DJO but have to continue giving the ID as 'CIN until it goes through...just a guess.

What puzzles me is.. what in the world are they doing on 1160? It seems to be on extra low power and being filled with infomercials. What waste of a signal!

1160 is still saying "WDJO Florence" (rather generically at best) at the top of the hour until the new callsign WQRT has been approved by the FCC. Same thing for 1480 which is still awaiting approval to start using the WDJO callsign there, thus discarding the WCIN call letters..hence you will hear Charlie VanDyke's "WCIN,Cincinnati" top of hour legal ID until then." 1160 has applied for the callsign WQRT which is awaiting approval..which will hopefully be on June 15th and will be a talk format so the repetitive infomercial and dirt poor sound quality is temporary....granted the frequent background buzzing is annoying.

Alchemy Broadcasting has been leasing 1160 since 2006 from owner Christian Broadcasting Systems Ltd. when the WCIN 1480 freqnency cme up for sale and becane available in May. (Hopefully somebody out there will use the WCIN callsign on another Cincy frequency.)
Alchemy will finally get to own their own station after leasing 1160 for three and a half years.
