WDJQ 92.5 at reduced power or off-air

They seem to be prone to going off air every time there's inclement weather worthy of a government weather warning

They been on reduced power for years I don't think they make enough bucks to buy a new transmitter they keep limping ole reliable along

Don't know about their transmitter being "old" but the AC from the power company (or co-op) can be an issue. I lived at a house that had frequent power outages. Fortunately we had a severe ice storm that took out several poles and bunch of trees that over hanged the power lines. It took them a week to get it back on but very few power interruptons in that neighborhood now. The power issues can be at the studio or transmitter site.

I find their signal weak just being 25 miles from the transmitter when they should give me a grade B signal.

How many years and how weak is it?

Well, about 25 years ago, I could hear it as far west as Lodi, albeit "barely".
When they had an oldies format I listened a lot in Wadsworth; came in quite clear. Then one day hop in my car and hear CHR or "new" music, turned it off and have only caught it when scanning across the dial. Since it's been months since I've heard it, no idea if it's weaker or the same.
