WDJT to Increase Power

WDJT is installing new transmitting equipment and antenna and should find an increase in signal strength on Channel 46.

And as a side note to those who are interested, Ch. 58 has picutres of the new transmitter on their website. Just go to <a target="_blank" href=http://www.cbs58.com>www.cbs58.com</a>, click on technical, and then click the first link at the top of the page

I wish WBJX-1460 would get a new tower, and boost their power. I know WBJX has a clear signal in Kenosha, but not in the Milwaukee area.

I saw some techs riding up the side of the antenna in a basket today. Didn't know what they were doing because the tower has good paint on it... thanks to the info I got here now I know what they were up there for. Got to give them credit for going up almost 1,000 feet in bucket. You couldn't get me up there....

Me either...but the view must be fantasic! I give credit to any of those tower climbers.. Nervers of steel, probably helps to be a bit crazy too...
