HA.. thats funny.. imt not even in the same region of the country as WDLR, et al.... im a broadcaster who understands radio waves dont follow maps/contours

Just curious. So if the contours as provided by Radio Locator as well as the FCC website are just estimates (which I agree with,) why are/were the estimates for WDLR and WQTT so far off from similar translators? I could name several 250 watt translators that come pretty close to matching the contours on most days. Somehow or another, the estimates for Delmar stations are off by a mile (or twenty.) Not to mention WQTT's antennas were 6 miles away from where FCC approval was granted.
