WDMS-Real Owners

How come everyone in Greenville keeps allowing Steve Shelton to get away with claiming to be the owner and/or soon to be owner of WDMS/WGVM? That's the same crap he pulled when he worked for Debut in Greenville.

According to papers filed with the FCC, the current owners are Bob Ghetti, who owns 75% and Wesley Gerald who owns 25%. Once the sale of the stations is approved, the new owners will be Allen Schemmel -33.3%, J.Edward Pearson - 33.3% and John Padgett - 33.3%.

Nowhere does Mr. Shelton's name show on any of the documentation. Yet, he tells anyone who listens that he's the owner. Isn't that fraud?????

Might be a a number of things but not sure fraud .. he is a tad egotistical and a big pain in the butt .. maybe the new owners are broad asters and will put some professionalism in that facility.

No...can't use an alias on FCC forms and that's his real name. He's done this before. Claimed he owned the stations now owned by Delta Radio when they were owned by Debut Broadcasting. He's a liar!

Steve Shelton is one of those guys that acts like a "use car salesman". Promise them anything and give them crap. He was reported to be the owner of the Dubut stations and they went down in flames under his direction. He moves over to the "competition" as "owner" and now we know the facts. Problem is does any of this really matter. Larry Fuss ownes Delta Radio and is making some inroads into the market with from fresh new programming and in the long run he will win!
