DX News Reports that WDMV Walkersville Md is Back on the air with Spanish proagraming, In Pittsburgh Pa. WWCS 540 Also oned by Birach,is Rebroadcasting WSDS 1480 Detroit's LaExplosivia. After Dropping Radio Disney. Is WDMV Also Rebroadcasting It?
 
I remember working at AM stations during the 80s. Back then I had no idea how they could support themselves. It was an FM world at the time, you never knew if anybody was listening and somehow they had sales people who could get some advertising on the air. These stations were always on. They had back-up transmitters and the resources to somehow stay on. It's sad when you just see AM stations going on and off the air.

Same thing on AM 1190. Sometimes I hear it here in northern VA amd most of the time it is off. I'm not sure if it is the former 1200 going back on air or not.
