WDMV back on

I was cruising the dial the other day and noticed WDMV was back on again. I wonder what's up with that? So far, they've been playing a mix of country (most of it older) along with some older rock and R&B. Oddly enough, they've been playing some of the Beatles demo recordings.

I'm wondering what Birach (or perhaps new owners) have in store. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a new classic country station which could also feature americana, bluegrass and perhaps folk and southern gospel.

I was just reading another thread and the fellow says he was driving in Southern Ontario near Toronto last night. While listening to WLW, he was getting WDMV. I would have thought they would be on extremely low power at this time.

I'm pretty sure they are still at 700.
Yes, they are. They have been playing a bizarre mix of music, most of it foreign language as of late.

I can't quite figure out why the hell Birach is doing this kind of 'stunting'. They need to git serious and find a format that area residents can relate to. With a strong north-south directional, the classic country blend I suggested at the beginning of this thread would probably work well.

Stunting? LOL! This IS the new format: "True Variety. We Play Whatever We Want. And We Mean WHATEVER!"

Well for whatever the hell it's worth, they're off the air and have been for several months now. I say either git serious or sell the damned station!
