WDNM in Memphis moves from 59.1 to 18.1

I just noticed last week that a low power station in Memphis, WDNM has moved from 59.1 to 18.1 but they are still broadcasting on UHF 21. I don't know why they chose 18 because there is already an 18 on WMAV just south of here in Oxford, MS. 18.1 is Daystar as 59.1 was but there is now an 18.2 as well but so far it just has color bars. I wonder if they will be adding another channel there. There are several subnets we could use there.

some of the Daystar O&O stations are going HD and putting a SD counterpart up on the -2

It actually looks like they moved the WDNM calls to the license for WDYR-CD in Dyersburg, which is a station which used to be owned by Tri-State Christian Television but has been silent; looks like Daystar bought that license, bumped over WDNM and took the old 59 slot 'silent' for the better channel number. WMAV actually transmits on channel 36, so everything actually is on the up-and-up there, though who knows if they'll renumber further to reduce confusion.

I can find no record of a sale of WDYR, and that license was canceled more than a year ago.

Hmm, I thought it might have been that, or a silent transfer where TCT still owns the assets but Daystar LMA's it...is it possible to grab a new PSIP with the permission of the station that had their licensed canceled/turned in?
