101.3 lost thier STL today due to a storm coming thru and as a result i was able to listen to WPDH with no splash on the way home from BK tonight!!

They have always been an excellent station (The best of the poughkeepsie stations)

I heard it pretty well until i almost got home,then i started hearing that piece of garbage in Vermont (the fox)

I also listen via thier stream also

Star 101.3 lost power at their studios. They didn't lose their STL, they don't have the fail safe activated on their x-mitter for some reason. In Albany, I am able to Get PDH in my car pretty clear. Did they get a new antenna or increase their power?

Their stick is basically on the highest point within 100 miles of Po-town.
Tall stick, top notch signal.

They used to come in on the Island pretty well. I remember listening to them in Patchogue in the early 90's.

That may be true, but I think WSPK has them beat for the best signal in the area.
