WDRB leaves WDRB columnist Eric Crawford suffers stroke, takes leave

Sorry to hear what has happened to one of the talent

WDRB sports columnist Eric Crawford is taking some time off after a health scare.

Crawford wrote Monday that he recently suffered a stroke in Florida but is "extraordinarily lucky" that the stroke was mild.

He is back in Louisville and wrote "all is well," but that he needs some time away from work as he recovers.

"But I’m so fortunate that things weren’t worse," Crawford wrote. "I can walk and speak fine, and basically do everything I could do before. I just need to do a few things differently than I did before."
