WDRC Brings Back Mary Jones To Replace Glenn Beck

Congrats to WDRC for seeing the ratings light and to the fact that Beck is a paranoid weasel and psychotic. Now, if they could get rid of Michael "Weiner" racist Savage,Malzberg and Lucretia Borgia, AKA Ingraham and replace them with some real live talented human beings (Ed Shultz, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, Leslie Marshall, Randi Rhodes, Norman Goldman, etc, even if taped), for example would improve WDRC 500%.

Looks like the WDRC quadcast decided to go local and softer to compete against local conservative talker Jim Vicevich on WTIC. Waterbury affiliate WWCO is in competition with a local talk show on WATR hosted by long-time CPTV executive Larry Rifkin.

Glenn Beck was recently removed on DRC's New York sister station, WOR.

I wonder if Beck will be on Clear Channel's 97.9 when it is moved from Springfield to the Hartford market.

The timing couldn't be more perfect... Of course, that's assuming 97.9 will be a talk station...

I guess this means Glenn Beck has become a modern day Howard Beale. :)
So true, Bill! The 1976 movie "Network" proved very prophetic, with mad-as-hell talk show hosts now everywhere. Geraldo Rivera once said if you generate enough heat you'll get light. I wonder if he still believes that. Connecticut local talk is relatively tame, even if we helped unleash the Glenn Beck phenomenon.
