WDRC-FM in mono?

Technical difficulties, of course! WDRC-FM has been in and out like that for at least a week, if not more. Somebody call up West Peak and give them hell!

Sad thing is I don't think Tom Ray can help salvage the situation unless he's still part of Buckley and didn't stay with WOR after it sold to Clear Channel.

Has his brother Rob left the DRC building? I notice he's no longer doing regular weekend shifts, and the Christmas Eve 7 to midnight shift that he usually handled with a cool mix of holiday standards and little-known seasonal oddities was put on autopilot this year.

I know Rob use to be on before Ron Sedaille's request show but it's been some times since I had the chance to listen. I enjoy his themed shows and it would be disappointing for it to be gone.

And now the streaming is screwing up. It's dropping out at every commercial break, with silence instead of PSAs and reloading necessary to bring the stream back. Except after the latest break, trying to reload generated an error message. "Cruel to Be Kind" is playing now, but online is silent.

I have often offered to help I live with spitting distance to several Buckley properties, but they go ignored. There's always "something" with these stations, I've frankly stopped listening. And I live Classic Hits out on the Cape.

Hopefully, it would be his choice, should it come down to this (of course, many are not so lucky)...
