WDRC FM is now showing Title and Artist information on there RBDS, and station promos during commercial breaks as of 5/16. Looks good.
 
Did you notice if they were scrolling info or sending it line by line? I had heard something that it was either illegal or "... highly recommended" that stations not scroll data due to being a possible distraction for a motorists.
 
Bill It was line by line on a VW radio. I do not think the VW radio scrolls, small area in the upper right side of the display for data information.
 
From what I heard, most auto radios won't scroll, but many have developed a method of sending the data repeatedly and dropping the front leading character with each repeated send, performing a pseudo scroll effect. I remember it being discussed extensively in Radio World a few years ago.
