Well, it looks like Big D has settled back to 60's and 70's, mostly... and even the morning show has jelled somewhat. Hopefully, we get the summer out of the station. With "oldies" stations dropping like flies, it won't be forever.
It took a trip around various markets to realize that DRC-FM remains unique. Much like that quirky mono signal on Long Island, you can pick it apart or just sit back and enjoy. I'm sure the sales duckies are clamoring every day for 18-34 year olds to sell to advertisers and in the not-too-distant future, Buckley will listen and heed their call. So I'll take Sammy Johns alongside the Troggs and Helen Reddy. Just keep playing those big hits for another summer... at least.
