I don't know if about DRC-FM, but their 4 station AM Network is thinking about it. Not too long ago they had a poll on their website about streaming their station.
Who cares? You can hear 'DRC in streaming-quality audio by tuning in to their signal at 102.9 on your FM dial.
Ok, maybe that's a little extreme, but they really need to do something about their processing. They're one of the worst sounding stations on the dial in this area, and have been for years.

That's obvious, but that wasn't the point. The point is that DRC sounds like crap and there's no excuse for it. Perhaps unlike some others here, I actually remember when they sounded good. Sorry for shifting the subject.

I don't listen to them very often, but I tuned in recently and heard a song though sounds like it was sourced off a cart! I won't go into the reasons why I thought that, but I wonder if that could be some of the problem?

I'm glad other people have noticed that their processing is absolutely terrible! It's hard to imagine that their GM, a former engineer, would let such a travesty stay on the air for so long! I have a clue of what they're using for processing and I've heard this stuff sound better.
Like the line from the movie "Christine" - you can't polish a turd!
