WDSK Cleveland

A message from a friend in the Delta:

Well, week before last WDSK was sports talk, with ESPN RADIO... Last week WDSK was sports talk with SPORTING NEWS RADIO... yesterday WDSK was off the air, and today, they are broadcasting nothing but a closed circuit feed that says, "This is CBS News Channel 42'... BEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP" OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN... I couldn't decide what was more stupid, the fact that they were doing this or the fact that I kept listening to it... God help them

----------

What a way to run a radio station!

Isn't automation just great? LOL!

Hey Larry.. How's 92.1 coming along? I was a big WROX fan when it was going. Is there any possibility that there will be internet streaming for 92.1?

Thanks!

WROX and WKXY will be back on soon. The FM is still 500 watts, but CP being applied for to increase power. Don't know yet about streaming.

Larry, only one way to tell that the Maladjusted Radio Stations are flip-flopping around with WDSK.....they're tearing the living hell out of it.

But wait.....isn't there a station around the Delta that's running ESPN? I was thinking of one other AM in Greenville or perhaps around Greenwood. Help me out here.

WGVM in Greenville is running ESPN, which is why I don't understand why WDSK is carrying them, too.

Because WDSK is running them without a contract. They just run whatever they can punch up on the satellite receiver. Last week, they ran the audio from "NASA TV" for 3 days straight! Compelling stuff indeed!

I wonder what's next for them? A broadcast from Mars to see if there is any intelligent life there?<P ID="signature">______________
