WDTW (Detroit) returning to its Rhythmic AC roots!

A lot of you may know that WDTW (106.7 - The Beat of Detroit) debuted as a Rhythmic AC station back in September '09. In its first 6 to 12 months of existence, it gradually shifted away from Rhythmic AC by dropping a lot of its '80s and '90s dance tunes and morphed into just a run-of-the-mill Rhythmic CHR station (that may have still played some "old school" hits once in a while).

Fast forward to early 2011. I was in the Detroit area this past weekend and noticed that they were bringing back a lot of those songs that made the station such a gem when it first debuted. It's playing a lot more '80s and '90s dance while still including some currents too. It's starting to sound like Rhythmic AC again!

Here's a few songs I'm holding out for and hoping that they re-introduce to their playlist:

"Music Sounds Better With You" - Stardust
"One More Time" - Daft Punk
"Love You Down" - INOJ
"It's Not Right But It's Okay" - dance remix by Whitney Houston
"Spring Love" - Stevie B

What other good dance songs from the '80s, '90s, and early '00s along this vein should be included in a good Rhythmic AC station?

I guess they switched back after it started to cut into Channel's ratings. I like the new mix. Im enjoying it on my iphone from Los Angeles
