WDUD 100.7 FM 40th Anniversary

I heard today an announment about an event for WHUD's 40th Anniversary, does anyone have more details about this ? I believe its in June.

Well, whatever they have planned, I'm sure it won't be a "dud". :p

100.7 FM actually signed on 54 years ago as a simulcast of WLNA-AM, but broke away from the simulcast in February of 1972 (the WHUD calls were actually in place in mid-October 1971).

When did they leave Radio Terrace and where were LNA's studios from sign-on in '48 until they moved up the hill?
