Did the 102.5 WDVE sign at the top of the flashcube along the parkway once say 102.5 WDVE Rocks? It looks like the rocks was there
but they took it off at some point. Was it there or am I imagining things?

It was never there. 20 years ago in that space, there was a much longer sign that read "HOOGOVENS USA".
Don't ask who Hoogovens USA is, was or what they did, or what floor they occupied in Jacob Center. I dunno.
But when the Hoogovens sign came down, the brackets used to hang that sign remained on the building. 'DVE used them to hang their sign, which is several feet shorter than "Hoogovens USA" was, therefore you can see the brackets.
