Just found this interview of Mr. Alan McCall that was done recently on how he got started in radio and founded WDXD-LP 101.9 FM, a community low power classic country station in the Tallahassee area.
Alan is a great guy who is legally blind, yet he still manages to be on air every day at WDXD. Station is located on the family farm just east of Tallahassee, and features classic country music. His station is a good example of how LPFM should be done.
