WDYT on TV

The TV spots are running for WDYT with "coming soon". They did a good job on the spots but I would think they would wait till the power was cranked and everything was up and running for awhile before buying TV time. I hope Danny has deep pockets to run the place for a few years. Others have tried to go up against WBT 610 WAYS , 1480 WCNT and 1060 WXNC only to crash and burn way too soon.

Mike, I asked a similar question in a post on June 19th after seeing a TV commercial back then...

"I saw a commercial for Danny Fontana's WDYT on WBTV's 6 o'clock News tonight. Does this mean they've increased their power? Or, are they promoting a station and a morning show that hardly anyone can hear?"

Last time I checked, the signal was still very "spotty", at least in the Fort Mill/Rock Hill area.

Does Gary Hattaway or anyone else involved want to step up and fill us in on the progress of the power increase?
