Marconi plays La Bamba

Well, maybe eventually by Los Lobos but anyway. I have no problem with B101's direction but have questions I wouldn't have if more ownership groups were represented in RI.
Unless they're voluntarily giving up older listeners in favor of lower numbers in more desirable demos, who is B101 planning on taking listeners from other than other Clear Channel stations? Forget about PRO-FM & Lite. I seriously doubt they're going further with this in anticipation of something stupendous coming out of 99.7 in the near future, especially since the music transition has been gradual over the last 2-3 years.
I see some HJY listeners who have been sitting through Seether to hear Aerosmith crossing over to B101, so maybe they don't mind giving up some older demo numbers from HJY. As far as Coast, what they're trying to accomplish is anybody's guess. The variety is better but there's still a lot of Eagles, Steve Miller, & Aerosmith on Coast now too along with the predominantly recurrent & recent gold hot ac playlist.
I'm just curious as to opinions about how the master plan is expected to impact all 3 stations & if it ends up being more of a reshuffling of listeners within those 3 stations.
