I never believed the rumors were true till it went on today. WTHZ Hits 94.1 Lexington,NC (Greensboro Market but it can also be heard in Charlotte) became Majic 94.1 playing a mix of '60's-'70's oldies. It's not '50's-'60's but it's nice to see someone reverse the trend of oldies going off the air!
I guess there was a lot of backlash when Oldies 93.1 changed format in Greensboro. This is also good for Charlotte which hasn't had an oldies station for about two years now since long time Magic 96.1 became The Beat with an urban/CHR format.
