We lost a GREAT newsman this weekend.

Condolences to Jim Harriott's family (who still live in the area). We lost this great newsman this weekend from the fallout of a stroke. One of the few anchors (perhaps the ONLY one) who worked at all of the "big three" in town ... KING ... KIRO ... and then KOMO. Has been working with the AARP in recent years doing some great features. Also was one of the few people who ever "subbed" for Paul Harvey.

Jim was truly a professional newsman. He hails back to the days when broadcast news was more than just a string of "breaking news" stories. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

We lost a good one this past weekend. :'(
